Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Business Fluent English is the data controller for the personal data described on this page. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@businessfluent.co.

2. What we collect

• Booking details. When you book a call through our Calendly widget, Calendly collects your name, email address, and any notes you add, and shares them with us so we can prepare for and hold the call. Calendly's own privacy policy governs how it processes that data.
• WhatsApp messages. If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your phone number and message content through Meta's WhatsApp service, governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
• Email. If you email us directly, we keep that correspondence to respond to you and, where relevant, to deliver our coaching services.
• Basic technical data. Our hosting provider and font provider (Google Fonts) may process standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type as part of serving the page. We do not currently run analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

3. Why we use it

We use this information to respond to enquiries, schedule and deliver coaching calls and sessions, and communicate with you about your coaching plan or corporate training program. Our legal basis is either your consent (when you book a call or message us) or the steps necessary to perform a contract with you (once you become a client).

4. Who we share it with

We share data with the service providers named above (Calendly, WhatsApp/Meta, our hosting provider, Google Fonts) strictly so they can provide the functionality we use them for. We do not sell your personal data. Some of these providers are based outside the EU/EEA; where that is the case, they provide their own safeguards for international data transfers (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses).

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as needed to respond to you or deliver our services, and client records for as long as needed for our business and legal record-keeping obligations, after which we delete or anonymize them.

6. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@businessfluent.co. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Cookies

This site itself does not set tracking or advertising cookies. The Calendly booking widget may set its own cookies once loaded, to support scheduling. You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date above when we do.
